  • All Torch gas sauna heater models are equipped with a pilot and CSA approved gas valve to safely operate the stove’s burner. https://www.csagroup.org/ (CSA is similar to UL listing and is recognized in both the United States and Canada). 
  • All Torch gas sauna heaters are equipped with a 16 gauge heat shield to allow them to be placed closer to the wall. 
  • Built into the pilot is a thermopile that senses if the pilot is blown out. In this case, the valve will shut off all gas flow until the pilot is relit. 
  • The Torch gas heaters are equipped with a back draft sensor- the stove will shut down in the rare case the chimney gas starts to backdraft from strong winds or any other reason. 
  • With an over temp sensor built in, the gas sauna heater will temporarily pause heating if for any reason the outside of the heater is getting too hot. 
  • All Torch gas sauna heaters are also sold with a thermostat and timer control regulating room temperature and automatically shutting off after an hour of run time.

Well done! 

I had given up on finding an effective commercially produced natural gas sauna heater. I had designed my own and was planning to have it built when my eldest son surprised me and our entire family with the Torch TS-60 for a Christmas gift. This heater was enthusiastically installed the next day. I may have been whistling while I discarded my prior stove which was a poorly designed natural gas heater that never worked properly and was backed by non-existent service. We have now used your heater for over 7 months. Our heater is used about 1 to 3 hours per day. Our sauna heats up to the temperature we enjoy (hot) in about 30 to 40 minutes. We can go in a bit early and use steam to increase the temperature more quickly if needed. The heater does not need recovery time between 5 consecutive sauna’s when our family comes over for sauna night, it is impressive.
